Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Therapist for the St Albans, Harpenden & Hatfield area
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Counselling Psychologist and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society in the Division of Counselling Psychology. I have worked as a therapist with a broad range of clients, including referrals from GPs and self referrals in a variety of organisations and in independent practice.
As a counselling psychologist and therapist, I apply psychological theory and research to therapeutic practice. First and foremost my focus is on the experience of the individual client and helping you to make sense of your feelings and your life so that you can face your difficulties in a more creative and truthful way.
I can provide you with a safe and creative space where we can identify and work on what is worrying or disturbing you, so as to help you to develop the emotional resilience and inner resources to bring about change in your life.
I work with adults on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I have been practising as a therapist for fifteen years.
