People who seek counselling and psychotherapy usually do so because they are feeling low, uncertain, anxious or unfulfilled in their work or home lives or in their relationships with others. Rather than simply aiming to ‘fix’ the person or problem, I can help you to look at the detail of your life, so that together we can gain a deeper understanding how you want to change, and how you can face the questions which are important to you.
You may want to talk through and work on personal difficulties and fears which you have lived with for a long time, or it may be that a particular crisis has just arisen in your life. You may even be wondering whether your particular difficulties merit counselling. You would be welcome to discuss these questions, along with any other queries that you may have about therapy, in an initial meeting with me.
